An Italian-inspired summer luncheon is the subject of the July 29 cooking class at Sea Salt Naples you won’t want to skip. Executive Chef Josh Zeman will demonstrate the preparation and presentation of two courses: diver scallop crudo with yuzu buttermilk, chives and poppyseed, and ricotta gnocchi with English peas, asparagus and green garlic.
Chef Josh describes the scallop dish as “light and summery,” and the gnocchi as “airy and fluffy, yet rich with savory, deep flavors.” His inspiration for the class is to teach guests to create the luncheon at home for friends and family with ingredients readily available at local markets. Prep time is approximately one hour.
$50 per person includes the demonstration, lunch and a glass of wine or champagne. The 90-minute class begins at 11:30 a.m.
